The latest edition of National Geographic’s SUPERFACTORIES took viewers into the workings of textile and line pipes industry by giving a behind-the-scenes preview of the sprawling state-of-the-art factory at Welspun Group. The documentary, which aired on December 24, 2021, brought to light the inspiring journey of the Group – exploring its offerings and giving a glimpse into the inner workings of the brand.
The 44-minute documentary showcased the company’s operations and how it has managed to establish a large footprint in the country with its mega facility, and become one of the leading brands in the highly competitive industry in India and abroad. Providing an insight into the manufacturing process at the Welspun factory, the film also highlighted the vision, achievements and challenges of the legacy brand; with the second generation now carving out the future path.
