Within a year of launching the first generation of Dyneema denim for motorcycle clothing, DSM Dyneema has announced the arrival of a new fabric in the market (4Q2016) that is a marked improvement on the original product.

According to DSM Dyneema spokesperson, “The first generation product that was out in 2015 had fallen just short of the four second slide time required to pass the standard impact abrasion test EN13595.  The new innovation that comes in less than a year’s time has succeeded in passing the test.”

Besides offering unparalleled protection, Dyneema fiber is also soft, light and thermally conductive – keeping your skin feeling cool in the sweatiest of conditions,” he added.
