Oerlikon Neumag plans to exhibit its state-of-the-art BCF carpet yarn production sysyems in hall 5 (A31) at Domotex, which is the world's biggest fair for carpets and floor coverings, to be held in Hannover, in January 2017.
New solutions from Oerlikon's manmade fibres segment will also be displayed for the first time, besides the company's Intelligent Plant Control (IPC 4.0) customer services, a company release stated.
The company expects its systems to cater to carpet yarn manufacturers' requirements, especially due to strong demand for the BCF systems S+ and Sytec One.
After these systems were launched in 2007 (Sytec One) and 2010 (S+), they have been continuously upgraded. Ongoing further development of components and the process increases the user friendliness and efficiency of BCF spinning mill solutions.
Oerlikon Neumag's S+ system concept offers the opportunity to produce the most diverse colour separations, from melange to strongly separated colours.
The company's Variomelt spinning mill is synonymous with highly flexible production of large and small batches of mono and tricolour yarns. These units can be modified from tricolour to mono colour production with three single colours in less than 45 minutes.
Oerlikon Neumag's Colour Pop Compacting (CPC) unit enables strongly separated yarns to be manufactured efficiently, the release stated.
Tricolour carpets must have a very uniform appearance, and an optimal tangle result in the BCF spinning mill is crucial for this.
These tangle knots are produced in defined spacings and thicknesses using RoTac. Thanks to this tangling option, uniform tricolour results that cannot be produced in conventional tangling units are achieved even at high speeds.
The company's new Multi Machine Access Centre (MMAC) is geared specifically to customers seeking a solution specially tailored to their requirements.
The MMAC permits monitoring of Oerlikon Neumag textile machines, allowing the scope of visualisation to be modified to suit customers' wishes. Since MMAC is linked to the process control system, its highest specification offers a central overview of all applications offered by the control system, the release stated.
