Kulin Lalbhai Takes Charge as Chairman of Arvind SmartSpaces, Pledges to Build on a Legacy of Innovation and Growth

Arvind SmartSpaces Limited has announced the appointment of Kulin Lalbhai as its new Chairman, marking a significant leadership transition within the Arvind Group. Kulin, a fifth-generation leader from the Lalbhai family and Vice Chairman of Arvind Limited, brings a strong legacy of innovation, digital transformation, and strategic vision to the role.

Expressing gratitude on his LinkedIn post, Kulin stated, “It’s a privilege to carry forward the values and vision that my father, Sanjay Lalbhai, has instilled in the company. His leadership has set the tone for who we are and what we stand for. As we turn a new page, I look forward to working with Kamal Singal, Priyansh Kapoor, and the entire team to build on this legacy and continue shaping spaces that inspire and endure.”

Arvind SmartSpaces, the real estate arm of the US$ 3 billion Arvind Group, currently has over 15 million square feet of projects under execution, focusing on residential, commercial, and industrial developments. The company has emerged as one of India’s most trusted real estate developers, known for its design-led projects and sustainable urban solutions.

Kulin’s leadership extends across the Arvind Group’s diverse businesses spanning textiles, branded apparel, retail, and advanced materials. An alumnus of Stanford University and Harvard Business School, he has played a pivotal role in driving the Group’s digital transformation and omnichannel retail strategy. He also serves as Chairman of CII Gujarat, Vice Chairman of the Retailers Association of India (RAI), and leads the CII National Textiles Committee.

Under his chairmanship, Arvind SmartSpaces is expected to enter a new phase of growth, blending legacy, innovation, and sustainability to strengthen its position in India’s fast-evolving real estate market.
