A Rs 400 crore textile and leather factory has been
inaugurated in Pandaul, Madhubani, marking a major industrial push in Bihar.
Set up by Savi Global Fashion, the unit is expected to generate around 12,000
direct and indirect jobs, helping curb migration. Senior leaders, including
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Union Minister Giriraj Singh,
attended the launch. The project is positioned as a catalyst for regional
industrial growth, with Pandaul emerging as a potential manufacturing hub. The
unit is expected to strengthen local supply chains, create employment and support
Bihar’s broader push to expand its industrial base.
