Made In India Meets Global Expertise: Barmag And Hitech Partner On Auto-Doffing Innovation

Barmag (Suzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. and Hitech Automation Solutions Pvt. Ltd. of Surat, India, have entered into an exclusive partnership to jointly market Hitech's Doffmatic automation solution for Barmag's proven manual eFK texturing machines.

In many texturing facilities, manual doffing remains heavily operator-dependent, often leading to increased scrap, inconsistent quality and limited productivity.

The joint solution aims to create both technological and economic value by offering texturing customers an option positioned between manual and fully automated concepts. It provides an attractive alternative for a wide range of operational and investment scenarios, with a clear focus on rapid return on investment and improved yarn quality.

For new machines and upgrades

The agreement covers both the sale of new eFK texturing machines combined with Doffmatic, marketed as eFK Doffmatic, as well as upgrades to existing Barmag machines (retrofits), which will continue to be offered under the established eFK and Doffmatic names.

In this way, the two partners address two key customer needs: investment in new equipment and the gradual modernisation of existing machines.

Technically, Doffmatic has been designed as an add-on system that integrates into eFK texturing machines without requiring additional floor space. This enables automatic doffing while maintaining the consistently high yarn quality for which the machines are known.

Customers benefit from a fast, low-risk modernisation path with short payback periods, both for new installations and retrofit projects. The solution is particularly attractive for yarn producers that do not yet operate fully automatic texturing machines but want to significantly improve efficiency, process stability and product quality.

Efficiency and reproducible quality

Doffmatic automates the doffing process while ensuring that bobbins have exactly the same length, a key requirement for consistent quality and seamless downstream processing.
