Winsome Textile Industries Limited has approved a capital expenditure plan of approximately ₹170 crore, equivalent to about US$ 19.8 million, to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities through spinning modernisation, dye house expansion, and environmental infrastructure upgrades. The investment reflects the company's focus on improving productivity, product quality, and sustainable manufacturing.
The project includes the installation of advanced spinning equipment and expansion of the dye house, alongside major investments in effluent recycling capacity, upgradation of the existing Effluent Treatment Plant, and enhanced sludge handling systems. Upon completion, spinning capacity will increase from 108,288 to 110,352 spindles, while annual yarn and fibre dyeing capacity will rise from 12,715 metric tonnes to 15,972 metric tonnes, representing an increase of nearly 26%.
India's textile and apparel market is projected to reach US$ 350 billion by 2030, driven by technology adoption, sustainability, and capacity expansion. Winsome Textile's latest investment positions the company to meet rising domestic and global demand for value added speciality and dyed yarns.
